International Football Academy was founded in 2012 on the initiative of Gökmen YILMAZ, ex-professional footballer (who played in the clubs of Austria, Turkey, Russia), presently - the trainer of the Academy. In six months after its opening, the Academy proved to be extremely popular among the youth of Vienna and got support of the City Hall of Vienna. 

Football today is one of the most popular kinds of sport. The meaning of football is hardly ever possible to overestimate. Parallel to physical development, strengthening health and developing endurance of the organism, power and agility, football contributes to breeding strong will, initiative, quick reaction, it develops the ability to quickly focus in the situation and make a decision, as well as the ability to work in a team. Football is a unique environment, excitement and dynamism, spectacularity and adrenalin.

Members of the Academy are children and teenagers from different countries of the world, united by the common interest and passion. Weekly trainings, trips to different countries and cities, matches with Austrian football teams and clubs of different countries.....

International Football Academy is not only sport and intensive trainings, but also an active social work with young people: outreach of healthy way of life and struggle against overweight, integration, importance of studies and education.

We also provide additional events, such as:

• International trainings camps (organised trips to different countries and cities, trainings, matches, cultural events).

• Summer training camp (in June-July 2013 we organised Summer Training Camp - during the period of 3 weeks the teenagers were in the open air from 9 am to 17 pm, they were doing physical training, playing football, swimming in the pool). International Football Academy is an opportunity not only for sport development and being perfectly fit but also for entering into the world of professional sport, since the most successful and persistent boys will get contracts with different football clubs.
